Celtic new boy Kolo Toure used to challenge of playing for big clubs

Celtic's new signing Kolo Toure claims that he is ready to put in the hard work and fight for his place at Celtic Park.

The 35-year-old, who has signed a one-year deal with the Hoops, says that he is used to the challenge of playing for big clubs after playing for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool and will use that experience to force his way into Brendan Rodgers' first team.

"I've played in good teams in England with Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool," the 35-year-old told the club's official website.

"The first thing is that I love the game and the only thing I know is hard work. I'll give everything I've got to help the team succeed and that's my main target.

"I feel great. I have a special personal trainer and I was back in the Ivory Coast training with him. My body is ready, ready to work hard and give everything for the club.

"I have been playing for top clubs and I'm used to the challenge and I'm here to give everything I've got to win my place.

"You can only win your place on the pitch and that's through hard work, dedication and determination and I'm ready for that."
