Celtic new boy Ibrahim: I always watch Man City's Silva

Celtic signing Rabiu Ibrahim is hoping he can make an impact at his new club just like David Silva did at Manchester City.

The 20-year old Nigerian midfielder recently joined the Hoops from PSV Eindhoven and has indicated that he is looking to play a similar role as the Spaniard does for the English league leaders.

"Celtic have a talented group," he said.

"There are good midfielders here so that will make me step up my game and improve quickly.

"Zinedine Zidane used to be my hero but at the moment it is Silva at Manchester City.

"I like the way he plays and always watch him.

"I'm an attacking midfielder, too. A number 10. Behind the strikers.

"It's good to play in a physical league because you have to learn more and be stronger."
