Scottish champions Celtic are believed to be one of a trio of clubs showing interest in Oldham Athletic forward Matt Smith.
The 23-year old 6ft 6in striker impressed in the Latics' FA Cup run with two goals against Liverpool in the 3-2 fourth round win and a goal in each of the fifth round clashes with Everton in which they were beaten in the replay.
It is believed that the Hoops have joined Stoke City and Birmingham City as clubs keen on Smith who has scored three goals in League One this campaign plus a further five in cup competitions.
