Celtic are showing considerable interest in Wisla Krakow midfielder Maor Melikson.
The 27-year old Israeli was watched by Hoops scout John Park when he turned out for his country against Ukraine in a friendly last week.
It has been revealed that Park was in Petah Tikva, Tel Aviv to watch Ukraine's young goalkeeper Dani Amos but was impressed by the performance of Melikson who was playing just his third international match.
Reports suggest that Celtic could now make a summer move for the Israeli teammate of key midfielder Beram Kayal.
