Scottish giants Celtic are being linked with a shock move for Dutch midfielder Boudewijn Zenden.
The 35-year old is a free agent after his contract with Sunderland expired at the end of last season and the Hoops are seeing if a deal could be possible.
"Bolo came in a few days ago and trained yesterday," said Celtic assistant Alan Thompson.
"He's a free agent with an unbelievable CV. He wants to come, so we'll have a look and see what we can do."
Zenden has had an exceptional career at the top, playing for the likes of PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Liverpool, Marseille, the Black Cats and representing Holland no more than 50 occasions.
