Norwich City striker Gary Hooper has become the forgotten man in football according to Celtic great Pat Bonner.
The 26-year old English striker left the Hoops to join the Canaries in a £5million deal last summer after being the toast of the Scottish Premiership.
Hooper was the most talked about player in Scotland last season but has fallen right away since his move to the Premier League which prompted the following comments from ex-Hoops keeper Bonner who feels the Scottish league gets a bad rap.
"Take Gary Hooper, for example. He's gone to Norwich, he is not getting in the team and you can be forgotten about quickly," Bonner told the Daily Record.
"When he was at Celtic playing in Europe, scoring goals, people were writing about him - who's writing about him this year?"
In his debut season at Carrow Road, Hooper scored eight goals in 34 matches in all competitions.
