Celtic goal hero Ledley: Hard work starts now

Celtic match-winner Joe Ledley insists the players will not get complacent now they have reached top spot on the Scottish Premier League table.

The Wales international headed home in the 52nd minute as the Hoops defeated Rangers 1-0 in the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park last night and although it puts the green and whites on top of the table, Ledley knows there is so much more work to do.

"Rangers are a good team and they are going to battle all the way to the end of the season and keep us on our toes," said Ledley.

"We know that and we just want to continue the great form that we are in at the moment. It was just vital that we got the three points and it's handy to be top of the league.

"But there are only two points in it and anything can happen in football and so we need to keep on our toes and keep playing the way we are playing.

"It was a great team performance and it was good to get a goal. It is always good to score against Rangers, especially with it being the winning goal."
