Celtic are considering a move for James McCarthy, according to theDaily Mail.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder is a free agent after his contract with Crystal Palace expired.
30-year-old McCarthy was born in Glasgow and supported Celtic as a child.
McCarthy spent six years at Everton before joining Palace in 2019.
