Celtic fans will love Rogic's style - ex-Villa striker Heskey

Newcastle Jets striker Emile Heskey is of the belief that Celtic supporters will quickly take to the playing style of impending arrival Tomas Rogic.

The 20-year old Australian midfielder is set to join the Scottish champions from A-League club Central Coast Mariners and former Aston Villa and Liverpool man Heskey suggests he will be a hit.

"I'm sure Rogic will do well with his ability. He's a very good player and he's got a massive club to go to as well," said Heskey.

"I'm sure the fans will take to him over there really well because of the way he plays the game.

"It's really too early to say for certain, but I'm sure he has the basis to succeed.

"It's now just about getting experience playing with the players he's going to have around him and the league he's going to play in and playing against players who aren't going to give him as much time on the ball.

"Granted, out here in the A-League, you can't run around like you do back in Britain. It's different conditions.

"But he's got really good ability and he'll have good coaches at Celtic who can help him along."
