The Daily Star says Manchester City and Arsenal are weighing up bids for £10m-rated Van Dijk.
Both clubs have sent scouts to monitor the impressive form of the Dutchman this season.
The Scottish champions snapped up Van Dijk, 22, for just £1.6m from FC Groningen in the summer and have put him on a long contract.
