Celtic cruise past hapless Hearts

Celtic stretched their lead over Rangers at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League to four points with a 4-0 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle. Hoops boss Neil Lennon was delighted with the clinical performance.

Scott Brown, Victor Wanyama, Joe Ledley and Gary Hooper all got themselves on the scoresheet.

"I thought that we were devastating," enthused Lennon.

"That was as good as we've played here.

"We're getting better and better and I think that this there is more to come from this team. I couldn't be more proud of them.

"We scored four going on six or seven tonight, the mood that the players were in was great tonight, that's what Celtic teams are all about."
