Scottish champions Celtic are on the verge of signing Stefan Scepovic according to Sporting Gijon.
The 24-year old Serbian striker was not present in Gijon's squad for their Spanish Segunda Division clash with Numancia on the weekend and will now be making his way to Glasgow according to Abelardo Fernandez.
"Stefan is no longer part of my plans," Fernandez told reporters in Spain.
"His transfer is a done deal and because we don't want to endanger his move, he is not training with the players anymore."
Scepovic, who has scored 23 goals in 41 appearances for Gijon, will reportedly join Celtic for £3million.
