Celtic boss Lennon: It's not just Huddersfield's Vaughan I'm looking at

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is keeping quiet on his January transfer targets.

The Hoops boss was spotted at a pair of recent Huddersfield Town matches - against Burnley and Bolton - with plenty of reports suggesting he was transfixed on Terriers striker James Vaughan.

Huddersfield boss Mark Robins has since come out and made it known that the former Everton and Norwich City man is not for sale but Lennon played down claims that he was solely focused on the 25-year old forward.

"I've been watching a lot of players," said Lennon.

"I'm not here to talk about one specific player. There were 22 players at Huddersfield-Burnley and 22 players at Bolton-Huddersfield.

"Maybe I wasn't specifically looking at James Vaughan. I've been linked with him and that's fine, people are putting two and two together.

"I have spoken to Mark Robins, I know Mark from my playing days. So it's not just James Vaughan I'm looking at but he is a player we think is a good player."
