Celta Vigo president Carlos Mourino insists he's not heard from Real Madrid about Gabri Veiga.

Mourino has stated he expects to lose the young attacker this summer. Veiga's contract carries a €40m buyout clause.

He said, "I don't know, I don't know. There has been no contact with us, I don't know if they have had it with the player.

"Real Madrid never addressed the club and they don't have to. It is a deal, given the circumstances that the player has with the club, that whoever is interested in signing him has to arrange it with the footballer.

"I don't know if Real Madrid has that concern, and I can't confirm it because there hasn't been anything with the club."

Mourino also said: "We always say that we do not sell him, but they are going to buy him from us; I want to make that big difference. For Gabri to continue with us would be a great success, but it is also a great success if we manage to sell him at that price."
