Celta Vigo hero Nolito is happy seeing Rafa Benitez appointed coach.

The former Real Madrid and Valencia has taken charge after Carlos Carvalhal left at the end of last season.

Nolito told Marca: "I did not expect it, but it did not surprise me that Benítez agreed to go to Celta, it is an appetizing club to go to.

"It was for many other people and for me. Rafa Benítez has a great career and can play a very good role at Celta. Hopefully this Centenary year will be magnificent and they will make us enjoy it. I trust the squad and Rafa Benítez, who is a magnificent coach."
