Former teammate Dani Ceballos hailed Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny as a "luxury player."

The Egyptian came in for mocking on social media, with a fan making a video cut of his late substitute appearance in the Premier League win over West Ham United.

While Elneny has not been a regular for Mikel Arteta's team this season, his ex-teammate Ceballos has a lot of time for him.

Real Madrid midfielder Ceballos tweeted: "Incredible professional, incredible teammate.

“More players like that in football.

“A luxury player for the Arsenal."
