Alberto Cavasin is thrilled to take the Sampdoria job this week.
Cavasin has stepped in to replace the sacked Mimmo di Carlo.
He said: "I won the Coach of the Year award playing 3-5-2 and won a League title playing 4-4-2.
"I will try and find the best formation for this team, knowing that they have done a lot with 4-4-2.
"I don't believe that it's a disadvantage not having a natural centre-forward. I will listen to the players and then decide.
"I will also speak with Di Carlo, with whom I shared a beautiful season at Lecce. I was on the bench. He was a Coach on the pitch.
"Anyway, I can assure you that in Catania on Sunday we will be ready both from a physical and tactical point of view, and we'll aim to get a result.
"I am very motivated and happy to be able to lead this great team and I am not thinking about any objective in particular, but at one game at a time."
