Catania assistant coach Dario Marcolin has cooled talk of good friend Roberto Mancini making the move to Juventus.

Manchester City manager Mancini has been linked with crisis club Juve in recent weeks.

But Marcolin, who worked with Mancini at Inter Milan, revealed: "I do not think a deal is plausible, Roberto and I often talk and he knows that he has joined a big club in City.

"He has a three and a half year contract and will not leave at the end of the season. Juventus also has never contacted him."
