Catania have ruled out moving for Boca Juniors striker Pablo Mouche.

The club's football chief Pietro Lo Monaco denies reports they have signed Mouche, who is also interesting West Bromwich Albion.

"I have to categorically rule out the rumours that we have already got Mouche," said the transfer chief.

"He is certainly a player we were interested in, but the negotiations never took off. Besides, we have Davide Lanzafame in that position, so do not need anyone else."
