Catania are slapping striker Maxi Lopez with a big fine for his antics on the weekend.

Maxi acted up during the 2-1 home defeat to Chievo on Sunday when Francesco Lodi was chosen to take the penalty - saved by Stefano Sorrentino.

"Maxi Lopez will get a very big fine," declared general manager Pietro Lo Monaco.

"Nobody can dare criticise the Coach's decisions. Even if he apologised, the obvious gesture was seen by everyone. These are things we have never seen here and will never see again."
