Catania coach Diego Simeone was upbeat despite a debut defeat against Parma yesterday.
The Argentine legend replaced Marco Giampaolo during the week.
"In the first half we did what we wanted to, playing tight and moving the ball between the lines," said 'El Cholo.'
"The midfield controlled well and we impressed until the break. When you make a mistake, the opponents do not let you get away with it.
"The game changed, we lowered the intensity and finished us off in the space of five minutes."
It is his first management experience in Serie A for the former Inter and Lazio midfielder.
"I am happy to be back in Italy and received calls from many friends. This is an important challenge with a team that is hungry and aggressive. We hope to improve."
