Castillo in doubt as USA seek defensive strength for Antigua & Barbuda

Tijuana defender Edgar Castillo is a doubt for the USA as they prepare for Friday's 2014 World Cup qualifier with Antigua & Barbuda.

The 25-year old is expected to miss the clash in Florida with a 'hamstring or groin injury' which leaves head coach Jurgen Klinsmann without a noted left-back following the injury to Fabian Johnson.

"Fabian is every day getting a bit better, but it will be difficult for tomorrow," he said at Thursday's press conference. "It's more a no than a yes. We don't want to force it. Hopefully, it will work out against Guatemala [on June 12].

"We always have left backs," he added. "Anyone can play left back. We'll figure it out. We'll find solutions."
