Casillas wants Real Madrid payoff ahead of Arsenal move

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas WANTS to join Arsenal this summer, it is claimed. Casillas has stated in recent weeks he wants to play out his career with Real, even it meant "spending time on the bench".

However, Jugones says Casillas is seriously considering leaving Real at the end of this season and London is his favoured destination.

The 33 year-old wants to work with Arsene Wenger and feels he can help Arsenal go to the next level and seriously challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles.

However, before any move is made, Casillas will seek a pay-off for the final years of his current deal.

The experienced Spain international will seek almost €15 million from Real for the remaining two years of his contract.
