England Under-21 boss Lee Carsley could be set to jump ship for a senior national team role.
The Three Lions may lose Carsley, as he is being targeted by the Republic of Ireland.
Per The Mirror, he is one of the top candidates to take over from Stephen Kenny.
The latter will not be given a new deal, after his country's poor Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
Carsley is the ideal choice, while ex-player Damien Duff and Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna are candidates.
The latter has experience from his time at Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
