Andy Carroll is in line for his first start for the season with West Ham United against Everton.
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce admitted he could start Carroll on Merseyside, but revealed the striker is still short of match sharpness.
"He's ready to start but I wouldn't say he's 100 per cent match fit," he said.
"He's eager and raring to go, as are Carlton Cole and Enner Valencia as well.
"We've still got very good options now, and it's about being patient and having to wait."
