Michael Carrick and Nemanja Vidic have agreed new deals with Manchester United. The Daily Star says Carrick and Vidic have agreed new contracts at Manchester United.
Carrick has penned a two-year deal that could see him stay at Old Trafford for the rest of his career, while captain Vidic has agreed a 12-month extension to his contract.
Both stars were in the final 12 months of their current deals and had been attracting interest from rivals clubs.
Vidic has been a long-term target of Juventus, while Newcastle, Everton and Aston Villa had been keeping close tabs on Carrick.
But boss David Moyes made it clear to United chief executive Ed Woodward that he wanted to keep the pair.
