Michael Carrick admits Manchester United were caught out in last night's 1-0 victory over Olympique Lyon.
"We could probably have scored a couple on the breakaway in the second-half, and it left the game on a knife-edge but it is job done, and we are through to the next round," Carrick told reporters after the game.
"I thought that we played some decent stuff in the first half, aware that we wanted to score first to give us a cushion. But, these games are always tight, and I thought we defended really well as a team"
