Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher feels Everton youngster Ross Barkley is England's future.
Carragher hopes Barkley goes to Brazil with the England World Cup squad.
He told talkSPORT: "I'd definitely take Barkley to Brazil, I think he's going to be a star.
"The way he beats players and doesn't hesitate to take a shot from 25 yards, it's fantastic he has the confidence to do that at such a young age.
"I sit there watching him and thinking, 'watch him, this fella is going to be a top player in the future'.
"He's a top player now, but I think he'll eventually be the man to take over from Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in the England team.
"He's definitely one I would take to the World Cup in the summer."
