Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher is full of praise for former QPR boss Harry Redknapp.
He wrote in the Daily Mail: "While he delivered what was expected in getting QPR out of the Championship at the first attempt, it never went as well as he would have hoped. No doubt the job has taken its toll on him, mentally and physically.
"I have heard it said in recent days 'What has he ever won?', but what is winning? Do we only accept managers who win titles and the Champions League as being good managers? If so, that is wrong. Unless you are at one of the giants, it is difficult to win silverware.
"But Redknapp has been a 'winner', as an FA Cup at Portsmouth, taking West Ham to fifth place and Tottenham into the Champions League show. Tony Pulis is a 'winner' after guiding Stoke to an FA Cup final and keeping Crystal Palace up against the odds."
