Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher slammed Everton captain Seamus Coleman after last night's 5-0 thrashing at Tottenham.
Carragher says Everton's defence isn't Premier League quality.
"When you talk about teams being too good to go down, that's because you maybe look at Everton's forwards; at (Dominic) Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison," Carragher told Sky Sports at half-time of the match.
"This back four is a Championship back four, absolutely no doubt whatsoever. Every time Spurs go forward they look like they're going to score.
"The problem for Frank Lampard is that this back four needs protection but when you're 3-0 down at half-time, you've got to go for the game."
Carragher was especially brutal in his assessment of Everton and Ireland skipper Coleman as he added: "Seamus Coleman, I actually feel sorry for him because he's been a great full-back for Everton, people just running in behind him.
"That goes back to Everton's recruitment that Seamus Coleman is still playing right now."
