Carpi goalkeeper Gabriel doesn't want to return to parent club AC Milan.

Gabriel helped Carpi win promotion to Serie A yesterday.

"I am very happy with this promotion we achieved, as we all worked so hard and the credit goes to everyone," he told Mediaset Premium.

"I'm happy that the club said it wants to keep me. Leaving Milan was not an easy decision, but I needed to play.

"Coming here was the right choice and with Milan we'll see what to do about my future. I want to continue this maturation process.

"Right now Milan have Diego Lopez and Christian Abbiati, so I don't think this is the right moment to go back there.

"I need to play regularly and doing it at Carpi would be the ideal solution because I already know the club well."
