Notts County caretaker manager Dave Kevan insists he has no interest in the post vacated by Hans Backe two weeks ago. Chairman Peter Trembling has already revealed the club have received 30 applications for the job following Backe's resignation.
But Kevan, who saw his side win 4-1 at Burton on Monday, said: "It's not about me, it's about the rest of the backroom team and a very good set of players.
"As far as I'm concerned, it's a short-term situation and that suits me fine.
"Burton are a good team and this was potentially a tough game. But the lads were superb and I thought we could have had two or three more if their keeper had not pulled off some superb saves."
