Careca, Ranieri hail AC Milan debut kid Pato

Napoli legend Careca believes AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato will become the world's best player.

Pato has been likened to Careca and the former Brazil international said: "Pato will become the best footballer in the world. He has a very bright future.

"Recently, Carlo Ancelotti has compared him to me, and I agree with this judgement and I am especially proud because Ancelotti was a very good football player and knows what he is talking about.

"Pato is very fast, can decide what to do in a fraction of a second and has good finishing ability. He also has a great desire to win."

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri also said: ''There are extraterrestrials and Pato is one for what he did see yesterday at the San Siro. He played like a 30 year-old, with personality."
