Cardiff will boycott Wigan clash in Mackay protest

Cardiff City's board will not attend tonight's game with Wigan Athletic.

Cardiff will blank the game in protest over the alleged racism shown by their former manager Malky Mackay and Wigan owner Dave Whelan, says the Daily Mail.

Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan has instructed his directors not to attend the Championship clash at the DW Stadium - and is said to have their full support in the club's first meeting with former boss Mackay.

Wigan declined to comment on the planned boycott.
