Cardiff City have signed Tommy Smith on a two-year deal from QPR for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year old forward has passed a medical with the Bluebirds and will now call Cardiff City Stadium home after two years at Loftus Road.
"Tommy Smith has joined former R's duo Heidar Helguson and Matthew Connolly at Cardiff City," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The club would like to thank Tommy for his services and wish him every success for the future."
Smith, who started his career with Watford in 1997, has since played for Sunderland, Derby County, a return to the Hornets and Portsmouth prior to his 2010 move to West London. He will now be available for Cardiff's Championship clash with Bristol City tomorrow.
