Cardiff City have joined the battle for Sunderland midfielder David Vaughan.

The Journal says Vaughan has been the subject of an enquiry from Crystal Palace.

The Wales international is also wanted by Cardiff and available as Sunderland are looking to generate more cash to rebuild their squad by letting several fringe players leave.
