Cardiff City must cough up for new signing Juan Cala.

Cala has joined Cardiff as a free agent after being released from his contract at Sevilla.

However, Marca says Cardiff must cough up around £1 million to Getafe after Cala pulled out of talks with the Spanish Liga club.

Cala had settled terms with Getafe, but they agreed to allow him to move to Cardiff in exchange for the cash compensation.
