Cardiff chairman Dalman delighted with developing Liverpool relationship after Wilson, Ojo deals

Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman is delighted with their loan deal for Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson.

The Bluebirds had already signed winger Sheyi Ojo from Liverpool on a season-long loan deal when Wilson was acquired on a temporary basis too.

And Cardiff chairman Dalman claims that the fee involved for 23-year-old Wilson is 'nowhere near' the £1.2 million reported.

Speaking to the BBC, Dalman said: "We structured something we believe is competitive. The numbers being thrown around are nowhere near the mark.

"I think it's a very good win-win situation and for the player. As far as getting this transaction done, I think we've done very good business. Liverpool were very supportive.

"Obviously we have a good history with Liverpool. It was easy to have that conversation.

"We're very pleased. In fact, we're thrilled to have Wilson on board.

"If you actually look at our forward line-up at the moment, it's not a bad one. You could argue it's one of the best in the Championship."
