Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may throw defender Juan Cala straight into the derby against Swansea City this weekend.
Cala has arrived as a free agent after his release by Sevilla
A former team-mate of Gary Medel, Cala is being signed because of concerns Solskjaer has about defensive duo Ben Turner and Mark Hudson, says WalesOnline.
He is eyeing Cala instead as Steven Caulker's centre-back partner and may plunge him straight into the heat of Liberty Stadium battle with Swansea on Saturday.
