Cardiff boss Solskjaer reveals regular advice from Man Utd legend Keane

Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed former Manchester United teammate Roy Keane is regularly in touch.

The Norwegian admits his former skipper has been a great source of comfort.

"Roy has been a great help to me in my time at Cardiff," said Solskjaer, who has managed only one league win in his two months in charge of the Bluebirds.

"I speak to family and close friends who have been managers in the same situation.

"I have talked to the gaffer (Sir Alex Ferguson), who calls all his former players here and there.

"Everybody I talk to tells me to be myself - and don't ever change.

"I don't feel alone in this situation because I have great staff around me and we are working through this together.

"I feel equipped for this job and would not have taken it if I did not feel I was ready."
