CAPITAL ONE CUP WRAP: QPR dumped out by Burton Albion as Stoke, Sunderland breeze through

Burton Albion have produced an upset in the second round of the Capital One Cup by defeating QPR 1-0 on Wednesday night.

The League Two club are through to the next phase of the league cup courtesy of Adam McGurk's 77th-minute winner which sent Harry Redknapp's R's crashing out of the competition.

Stoke City are comfortably through after beating Portsmouth 3-0 at the Britannia Stadium thanks to a brace from Jon Walters while fellow Premier League club Sunderland scored three late goals to defeat Birmingham City 3-0 at St Andrew's.

Bradford City came up with two goals in two minutes to come from behind to beat Leeds United 2-1 while Leyton Orient also caused a shock by edging Aston Villa 1-0 at Villa Park.
