Arsenal starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to be handed a full England debut against Holland.
Capello has been a fan of the teenager ever since he made his England Under-21 debut last February and is ready to throw him into the big time prior to Euro 2012.
"From the first time he saw him he spotted he is potentially a very good player.
"We were always watching him with the Under-21s and he was amazing in every game. He was also impressive against Manchester United. The game against Holland is next month and for Fabio to select him he will need to play a bit more.
"Last Sunday was the first time he had been selected to start in the league, and obviously Fabio is very keen on him. There is more than a month before the friendly, so it depends on what happens at his club."
Oxlade-Chamberlain could even pose a threat in the Arsenal line-up to established England star Theo Walcott.
But despite Walcott's dip in form, Capello still has faith in him.
"Fabio likes Theo a lot as a player and has selected him for a lot of games," added the source.
"But he is someone you need to speak about when you get closer to an international. He is not going through the best moment, but with Theo, you never say never. Fabio knows what he is capable of.""Fabio has been impressed by him for a long time," a source close to Capello told the Daily Star.
