England coach Fabio Capello believes he's found his dream strike-partnership.
Capello believes a strike partnership of Wayne Rooney and Newcastle debutant Andy Carroll will strike fear into future opponents when he has the opportunity to play them together.
The Italian said: "In Carroll we have found the perfect partner for Rooney. Absolutely.
"Carroll has so many good attributes. He is not only good in the air, he has good movement, he has good vision and he has good close control.
"I really like Carroll. He's an interesting player. I saw him against Arsenal and he surprised me. What I saw against France confirmed what I think about him and the future he has with England.
"When Wayne returns to fitness and is ready to play it will be a very important partnership for England."
Capello went on: "Remember it was the first time Carroll played for England and he played with hunger and without any fear.
"When Rooney is fit and Rooney is in good form he is one of the best players in the world. He makes a difference.
"It is not easy to find another Rooney or someone in comparison to him. Some players are too important, Rooney being one of them.
"Rooney's problem is he needs to be fit, but that applies to any player who wants to play at their best. Even more so at this level. But I think once Rooney is back playing for Manchester United and back to his best everything will fall into place."
