Juventus legend Fabio Cannavaro has jumped to the support of Giorgio Chiellini.
Chiellini has been under fire this week after fracturing Gonzalo Bergessio's fibula, ruling the Catania striker out for at least two months.
"Sometimes Giorgio is so eager to get the ball that he goes in too hard, but he is not nasty," assured Cannavaro on Radio Kiss Kiss.
"He once did a tackle on me that forced me to miss an entire European Championship, but I repeat he is not a nasty person."
