Retired Italy defender Fabio Cannavaro could return to Juventus.
Cannavaro has decided to hang up his boots precisely five years after lifting Italy's World Cup trophy in Berlin.
"A great man and a great player leaves football. He may not have had the greatest skills, but physically, athletically and in terms of character he was beyond the norm," agent Gaetano Fedele told Radio Sportiva.
"I can only shake his hand and say it was a pleasure to assist him in his career."
The now former defender has been offered a three-year contract to work on as a director at Al-Ahli, but reports claim Cannavaro also has a clause allowing him to return to Juventus.
"These are personal matters that are to be seen to later on," added the agent. "Fabio's career will continue in the football world and he'll prove he is a champion off the field as well as on."
