Released Notts County defender Sol Campbell has struggling to find a Premiership taker.

The People says Campbell was hoping for a lifeline from a toplevel club after his culture shock stay with Notts County which ended with an early walk-out.

But the former England defender's contacts with a handful of Premier teams - made by his agent in the past 48 hours - came to nothing with a series of rejections. Now Campbell's best option seems to be to sign for Championship side West Brom.
