Esteban Cambiasso could play on with Leicester City next season after the Argentine admitted his fondness for English football.
Cambiasso played a key role in the Foxes' Premier League survival in 2014/15, which was secured after a 0-0 draw with Sunderland on the weekend.
The relegation battle was a far cry from Cambiasso's halcyon days with Real Madrid and Inter Milan, where he won the Champions League in 2010.
However, the out of contract 34-year old has revealed he has enjoyed his first season in the Premier League, opening the door for a second season at the King Power Stadium.
"I've enjoyed this season. In England, there is an incredible atmosphere at all the stadiums," he said.
"It's even better than I thought before coming here.
"This is a moment now to relax, and after our last game at home I will go on holiday. Then, after my holidays, I will think about what is next."
