Cambiasso admits: Inter Milan lost our heads

Esteban Cambiasso admits Inter Milan "lost our heads" in defeat to Napoli. The 3-0 home defeat was undoubtedly affected by the first half decisions to give Joel Obi an initial yellow card, then a second booking for a penalty foul that was outside the box.

"We are disappointed, as there was everything in place to see a great game of football," said the midfielder.

"Both Inter and Napoli were playing well, but when the referee becomes the protagonist, then you ruin football."

Coach Claudio Ranieri was also sent off for dissent, while Julio Cesar was extremely fortunate not to follow when taking his protests too far.

"It is difficult to be calm in these situations, as when you're faced with incidents like that, even the most level-headed player can lose it.

"We have to analyse the game looking at the incidents, because there was a game before the penalty and a completely different one after," continued Cambiasso.

"We lost our heads a little bit after that and were left without a Coach too, but our goalkeeper still didn't have to make many saves. We're not supposed to talk about it, but we were also penalised against Palermo and Novara."
