Caicedo almost certain to leave Man City

Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo looks set to depart the club in the summer.

The 22-year old Ecuadorian, currently on loan with Spanish club Levante, has been frozen out at Eastlands and admits that he can see his future elsewhere.

"Levante can sign me for one million euros (£842,000) from Manchester City," he told calciomercato.com.

"For now, though, I just want to think about helping Levante stay up and then we will see what happens.

"I don't wish to say anything to [City boss]Roberto Mancini, other than to wish him luck during his time in England.

"My dream is to play in Italy now, especially in Milan.

"I have many friends at AC Milan. I know Robinho very well and [Kevin-Prince] Boateng.

"I would also like to wear the jersey of Inter Milan. My idol is Adriano, he's very strong both physically and technically."

Caicedo has enjoyed some individual success with the Granotes in Valencia this season, scoring nine league goals in 13 starts, as Levante sit 17th on the La Liga table.
