Tim Cahill was urging his New York Red Bulls teammates to stick together following Thursday night's loss.
The Red Bulls were beaten 2-0 by Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park with Nathan Sturgis and Deshorn Brown on target for the home side.
The defeat was New York's third in their past four outings but Australian midfielder Cahill was imploring the team to stay strong via Twitter.
We win together and we lose together. We played a good team and now we move on and prepare for next week. @newyorkredbulls#rbny#ourteam — Tim Cahill (@Tim_Cahill) July 5, 2013
